Just an Update...

Hello!!!

Just an update...

Yesterday, I was able to add some things to my doll order about how he will look. I have to say that he will look nothing like my old doll did. Actually, he is going to look fantastic!

I have to admit that I kind of go round and round about just getting my old doll cloned and have him pretty much be the same but I need and have let it go. The thing is, I am totally ready to move on and do something different and get out of my comfort zone. I'm glad of that. Yay!

Anyway, I exchanged a few emails with Debra there at Abyss/Realdoll and got things sorted. I am very confident that Debra understands on what I want and the look I'm going for. I have to say that she is one of the most patient women I know. I know I have bugged the life out of her at times but she keeps tolerating me with genuine kindness and no sales pitches or making me feel guilty for upgrades. I like her so very much.

Also, I need to say thank you to Annette whom has taken a few of my calls. She is so very kind and pleasant. When she says she will get an answer for me, she does. What a sweetheart. Even though Amanda is gone from there now (whom I like very much) Annette is a good replacement. Thanks Annette.

Well, it is back to the waiting period and it is still driving me nuts. I wish things were moving faster for my benefit but I do realise that there are loads of dolls in the queue waiting to be done to go to their owners. In a way, that is a good thing as I know Realdoll does not rush its dolls out and make a lot of empty promises. I like that so I will wait and I know when my doll goes into production that they will take all the time to make sure I get what I want and be happy. I love the makers of Realdoll.

Okay, that is it for now. Writing in here from time to time makes the wait a little easier and leaves a record of what is going on. One day I will reread these posts and see the progress from then to now. Kind of cool I think.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. Hopefully it won't be too long now until my doll goes into production and then finally home. When that happens, I will post pictures straight away. YAY!!!

WEEK 4...Waiting

Hello!!!

Well, I have very nearly finished week 4 in waiting to hear abut when my doll will go into production. I have to be honest, it's not bad really, just more madding than anything else. I hate waiting. But I know the people at Abyss/Realdoll are going to do a fantastic job on my new Male Doll. Nevertheless, I have never been a very patient person. Who knew?

Anyway, I thought I'd share a few details that I usually don't mention on this blog just for a bit of fun...

Okay, about a week or so ago I bought a 5th Wheel caravan. I love it. It's massive and very enjoyable. I plan on travelling about here and there for the next year. I have rented out my flat that I have here locally and now have the freedom to do what I want for a change. YAY!!!

I'm going to travel with my doll and see what amazing sights are here and just relax. The past year as been grim to say the least and a lot of sadness as well. However, life goes on even if it can be difficult at times. I am very excited to see and experience new things and plan to take loads of photographs. I do plan on taking my doll out for some photo sessions when I can. I thought that would be fun and I have someone going with me to help me move the doll around when out of the caravan. Good friend to have indeed.

My caravan is lovely and has everything I need and then some. I still can't get over how much it looks like a home even though it is on wheels. When I first saw it I had to have it. I think that getting this thing helped me to realise that I need to do more and I am tried of travel by air, sea and trains. This makes it more personal and I will have loads more to see and meet new and interesting people. I like people in general but this way I can interact with them on a different level rather than just as a speaker or a business conference. Anyway, this is my first time doing something like this and all roads lead to home anyway so I will keep you posted on what things are going on as time allows. Be sure to check back after I hit the road with my doll for pictures and insights.

Okay, that is it for now. Thanks for stopping by and having a read.

Still Waiting...

Hello!!

Well, I'm still awaiting word from Abyss/Realdoll about when my doll will go into production. UGH! I hate waiting but I am keeping myself busy with shopping and etc...I have received several items of clothing that I had ordered online. I'm very happy with the quality and style of the items that I got. I usually never order clothing online as sometimes you don't get what you expected...oh well, I'm happy.

I had someone send me a message on here asking me why I did not by a 'sinthetics' male doll. I was sort of put off by that so I will share the "why I didn't" nor will I ever do that.

Okay, I had a chance to see the female and male versions of their dolls that people I know had ordered. They are sort of tiny looking as far as the female dolls look and look more like men trying to be women. Very strange but to each their own. I noticed that the silicon they use is not as good as Realdoll, don't get me wrong, the dolls are pretty but they lack something and their glued on finger and toenails were awful. You could see and feel the glue. The silicon felt like rubber...not like the silicon Realdoll uses but a firmer sort of dolly like silicon that you would find on a toy in a store. Not very good in my opinion. The make up was okay but not my favourite. It had too much of store display look to it and not real at all. However, I will say that the vaginal area of their dolls is very nice for the built in version. The 'honey pot style' looks like something trying to climb out and escape rather than inviting you in.. Nevertheless, to each their own.

Now, the male doll I saw was also smaller than an average person in my opinion. The doll was handsome but again, the silicon feel was awful and not life like at all. the penis attachment is very much like Realdoll now as they changed it from the ball style they were using. They are soft and stretchy but won't last long. In fact, the person that owns the doll was disappointed with the penis attachments and the body hair that was ordered. The hair keeps coming out and had to figure out a way to get it back in. He is very gentle with the doll and just rubbing the pubic hair caused it to fall out even though he was told it was 'glued' in. Over all, he was pleased with his doll as a piece of art but not as a sex toy. The paint is already coming off in flakes and had some flaking when he opened the box when it arrived. However, the beauty of the doll was outstanding but still not worth the money he paid. Mind you, these are his words and not mine. He said he would never do it again and if he ever does by another male doll that he is going to purchase another Realdoll male. He owns a male Realdoll body B and loves it but got so caught up in the hype and the look of the 'sinthetics' male doll that we wasted a lot of money.

Personally, I can say the the pictures of the 'sinthetics' dolls are great but not in quality or design from what I have seen. They are too small and the pictures give the illusion that they are bigger and life sized. It is true that they are "life size" like those "life sized Barbie dolls from years ago...bigger but still very small...hey, I just thought of this. They are more like the Boy-Toy dolls that were created by Matt McMullen and the 4 woods dolls from Japan. I think they might be a hybrid of the two technologies. Who knows and truly I don't care.

From what I know of the Lovable Doll/sinthetics makers and their business and moral ethics, I will stick with Realdoll as I know what I am getting and I am happy with that. Am I saying not to buy a 'sinthetics' doll. No...just realize that you are spending a lot of money for a lot of hype and less quality in my opinion. Pretty dolls, but that is about it. It's okay to have an opinion and I have stated mine as I have seen them in hopes that I would find something wondrous about them...but, nothing special in my opinion.

Right, that is all I have to say this go round. And, to the person that was "trying to sell me a 'sintethics" male doll and offered me a discount if I canceled my order with Realdoll, Screw You! I think I know who you are and I still won't buy from that company. By the way, I am not fond of the 'frog' either...yeah, you know who you are...

Take care and thanks for stopping by and checking out this blog...

Out Shopping...Again...

Hello!
I have been out the past couple of days trying to find clothing for my new male Realdoll 2. And, I have to say that I had a wonderful time. I got loads of new things for him and I thought it would help make the days go by quicker as I await his arrival but it really only made the anticipation for his arrival greater. UGH! LOL I HATE WAITING! LOL

Since I have had a male Realdoll 2 before, I know what sizes to get rather than just trying to guess. This knowledge made things easier and made shopping a breeze. YAY!

Just a word of advice...Wait until you get your doll home before you start to buy clothing. Underclothes are fine, but use Diabetic Socks rather than normal socks as they won't leave indentations on the silicon skin around the ankles or calves. If you do use normal sock, make a small cut in the elastic a the top...not too big but just enough so the elastic will not compress the silicon. You can stitch it up a wee bit to keep it from coming undone but Diabetic Socks work best.

Also, if you buy jeans or coloured cotton clothing, make sure you wash it first...at least one or two times. You can also add a little vinegar to your rinse cycle when using hot water to set the colour for good. You might need to wash it again just to insure the colour has set and will not bleed onto the doll's skin and stain it. Great care must be taken at all times.
As I said, owning a male Realdoll 2 in the past has made it easier preparing for him now. I wish I would have known then what I know now. But, I am glad that it is easier for me to get the things I want for my new doll and having the experience to do so...last time was a bit of a bother and some disappointment when I had things for him to wear and they didn't fit or I couldn't get them to fit properly. You know what I mean?
Well, that is about it for this post. I wish I had more to share but I am still playing the waiting game but i do try to relieve some of the time posting here and sharing whatever it is that is on my mind.
Thanks for stopping by ....
